Mending Station, 2021

Walnut shelf and tiny drawer with maple inlay and brass hangers.

Originally designed to house my quilting thread, I’m really into it for displaying and storing any small things! Dovetails are a strong and pretty detail at each corner, and drawing practice became this folk art inlay with the help of lasers and tweezers. Most of the drawings I’ve sketched are of tiny cabinets like this one. I love making furniture that can be treasured for a lifetime, without needing much space to house it, or a truck to move it.
