Occasional Table with Inlay and Floating Top, 2019

This was my first “proper” table and my first experiment in using a laser cutter to make an inlay. I loved the look of a classmate’s floating top and asked to replicate the shapely aprons she had designed. The result is a table that’s interesting to look at from the top, but that contains surprise details for those who look underneath.
