Paper bag cord, cotton quilt cuttings, and waxed linen thread.
I started this piece in Seattle and turned to it for comfort as I packed and panicked, wove and worried — busy hands a balm for that wild season. I ran out of time and brought it to finish here in Sweden. I love how firmly it holds its shape. That surprised me! Each stitch tightened down against a bowl a friend left behind when she moved to Berlin.
